Following a major exercise involving 20 potential suppliers last year, we selected Scorpio as the sole provider of printer and fax consumables. This enabled us to delete some 3,000 lines from the NHS Logistics catalogue.

Looking back over the year the changeover has been a great success and we have had a good deal of positive comments from users throughout the Trust. The odd item that was incorrectly ordered or delivered has been dealt with quickly and efficiently. All new items have been priced by phone calls and e-mails replied to the same day.

Our I.T. Department are delighted with the removal of 'compatible' cartridges from the range available to users and on Scorpio's advice we have been trialling Xerox cartridges.

I have no hesitation in recommending Scorpio as a supplier and I would be very happy to answer any detailed queries from other NHS organisations.

For a number of years Mersey Care NHS Trust purchased IT consumables from NHS Logistics. However, following a pricing exercise, we selected Scorpio as our future provider of IT consumables. This gave us a more flexible approach regarding deliveries, as well as considerable cost savings.

We have received excellent customer service since the change over. We also have access to an account manager who deals with any problems that may arise. All queries are dealt with in a professional and courteous manner. .

I would recommend Scorpio without hesitation to any potential customer.
